A few years prior to ye olde pandemic, I started posting astrology content on Instagram. Little did I know, astrology would become the new frontier of commodified spirituality, and I would find myself with a #platform. This is why I am verified on Instagram, for those who are nosy. I believe that spirituality is a valuable tool for the understanding of both self and community, and I think these silly memes resonated because they often cut through the noise to some of the deeper truths about ourselves. Or maybe they’re just fun memes.
